On Tuesday the 25th of May 2010 it was announced that an asylum seeker detention centre is to be built in the mining town of Leonora on the Goldfields of Western Australia. Nobody in the town apart from the landowner who is set to make a mint out of the deal and the local shire were consulted.
The rest of the time rural Australia is totally ignored but with an election looming Kevin Rudd has decided to hide his mistakes from city voters by lumbering rural Australians with his mistakes. It is a case of out of sight out of mind. It is something that rural and remote Australians will not forget!

The Federal Government says asylum seekers (invaders) may be held in caravan parks in Darwin in the future.
The Immigration Department says 91 people (invaders), including 27 crew (smugglers), are being held in hotels or residential housing in Darwin.
It says most of the group are women and children and are under 24-hour supervision by a security contractor. (What one of their own kind who will turn a blind eye to everything they do?)
Immigration Minister Chris Evans says the numbers in hotels is higher than usual, but the Government is searching for better accommodation options. (What better option is there than kicking us out of our homes? I mean this is exactly what has been happening for decades, we are losing our country without so much as a bad word for fear of being labelled racist. God, we are a gutless lot!)
"We have larger numbers there at the moment than we've had for a while, but that's about finding appropriate alternative accommodation for families," Mr Evans said. (The reason why there are so many is that the invaders are not stupid, the thing they know best is how to get a free ride!)
"We're actually looking to find more suitable longer-term accommodation for families. It's not easy to source. (Of course it isn't easy to source, the country has been flooded with non-White scab coolie labour since the days of Goof Witless and Malcolm "Where are my trousers?" Fraser and housing construction hasn't been keeping up because of government policy to increase the cost of housing so the rich benefit.)
"But we have been looking at alternatives like caravan parks and or old church boarding schools or what have you, where we might be able to access accommodation that's suitable for families." (How insecure is a caravan park or an old bible bashers' boarding school? They'll be able to come and go as they please while we get the 'benefit' of having to pay for these leeches to take over our country!)
Mr Evans says the alternative detention falls into line with the Government's policy of not incarcerating children (Here we go, what about the children? Typical fabian marxist dribble!).
I have a better option, let the navy do it's job and start sinking a few boats with all on board. It would only take a few and the invaders would soon get the message and stop coming. As it is with the scum hearing this news there will be even more of them in the coming months. The 10,000 barrier will be easily broken this year and in 2011 you could easily double it. Remember there are over 200,000 Tamil terrorists waiting to come here to take all of what is ours.
BTW, I know that I am preaching to the converted but **** me this is one of those things that pisses me right off! In a fair and proper world all the traitors in Canberra would only be concerned with our welfare but under this corrupt system that is never going to happen. What was the last thing that any government did that actually benefited us? Can anyone think of something, anything?

Four-star flare up: asylum seekers put up in 'luxury' Brisbane motelMARISSA CALLIGEROS
The four-star Virginia Palms Motel in northern Brisbane boasts "luxurious accommodation" in brand new self-contained apartments surrounded by 10 acres of lush, tropical gardens.
It also currently houses nearly 80 asylum seekers.
The Boondall hotel has reportedly been awarded a $1.2 million government contract for at least six months to accommodate the group of asylum seekers, understood to be from Afghanistan.
The federal Department of Immigration would not confirm details of the contract this morning, describing the matter as commercial in confidence.
However, the government defended the decision to house asylum seekers in a four-star motel, saying it was the only appropriate means of housing vulnerable women and children outside a detention centre.
"We don't think they should ever be put behind razor wire," Small Business Minister Craig Emerson told Sky News today.
"These are very vulnerable families with children and it's something that needs to be done on a short-term basis."
But Family First senator Steve Fielding said the move would only encourage more unauthorised boat arrivals.
"First it was Hotel Christmas Island, now it's Hotel Queensland," Mr Fielding said in a statement.
"There is no way we should be detaining asylum seekers in hotels because it just gives the people smugglers an extra selling point.
"Most Australians would be shocked to know there's a budget blowout of $200 million for dealing with asylum seekers."
The motel's website says it provides "luxurious accommodation" in Boondall, 13 kilometres from Brisbane Airport and three kilometres from Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
Department of Immigration spokesman Sandy Logan told ABC Radio this morning the group of asylum seekers was under 24-hour "monitoring and guarding".
"They're not allowed to come and go," Mr Logan said.
"They've all been through full security and health checks before being transferred from Christmas Island."
It is believed 28 unaccompanied children were recently transferred from Christmas Island to the motel because Brisbane's Immigration Transit Centre, which houses 49 detainees in family groups, has been full since March.
In Brisbane’s inner city:
- at least 350 people are homeless
- 4550 people live in unsafe or insecure accommodation
"They are isolated from friends or potential friends in their ethnic community and they are being alienated from the wider community which they are likely to be joining as soon as their refugee claims are processed."
Cry me a river Frederika you stupid bitch.
